Wood Door Pre-hung Rough Openings & Design Pressure Unit Information
The charts presented here list rough opening dimensions and “DP” Design Pressure ratings for all of our standard “inswing”entryway configurations for our Premium Wood Doors. Most of these entryway configurations have been approved by state regulatory entities for use in windstorm areas. Note that the “rough opening size” listed below is a “tight” size, and is for reference only. Your installer may wish to add to these rough opening sizes. We also list the Unit Size or the actual size of the entryway. Please note that this Unit Size is nominal.....the actual size will vary. It is important to measure your pre-hung entryway unit upon arrival at the job site, and to construct the opening to fit the individual entryway unit. Please note that entryways with TDL sidelites and/or TDL transoms have not been tested for DP Ratings and windstorm approvals, and therefore the ratings below do not apply to these entryways. Single TDL Doors, and Arch Top Double TDL Doors have been tested and are approved. In these charts, “N/A” means that the product is not available OR the product configuration has not been tested for a DP Rating.
