8) Our glass panels used in our Impact-Rated Entryways utilize Polyvinyl Butyral or PVB as a laminated protective layer in the insulated glass unit. This material is superior to other laminating materials due to its strong binding, optical clarity, toughness and flexibility. This PVB material is laminated to 2 sheets of glass to provide a strong impact barrier layer. These panels have been tested and approved by a certified independant testing laboratory. They have been approved by the State of Florida and the State of Texas for use in windstorm areas.
Quite simply, no one, absolutely no one in the millwork industry builds a better decorative panel for their doors.
