FiberCraft Premium Composite Product Specifications: Door Construction

• Contemporary Collection • SDL door designs with Internal muntin bars

• Solid maple edge on square edges, composite top & bottom edges, and 4"-wide engineered wood in door stiles eliminate the need for lock blocks. • Stiles of these doors use a laminated-engineered construction method which virtually eliminates the possibility of warping. These engineered stiles extend from the top to the bottom of each stile, eliminating the need for "lock blocks". The doors therefore are not "handed" — door hardware may be installed on either door edge. See drawing of door section on next page. Narrow Profile doors utilize solid construction — no foam fill. Glass Panel • Glass panels installed in the doors are made of insulated safety glass. Triple IG glass panels are used in the Decorative Glass series, and Double IG glass panels are installed on other applicable design series. • All IG glass panels are 1" thick. Door Units • Doors are available pre-hung, or as individual door slabs. NP-Series SDL doors are available pre-hung only. • Both inswing and outswing, and right and left-hand openings are available for all entry configurations. Pre-hung Units • Pre-hung unit includes weatherstrip, composite sill, doors, composite frames, flush-bolts, hinges. Lock set hardware not included, except for NP-SDL pre-hung doors, which include Hoppe brand multipoint hardware. • Refer to the bottom of catalog page 14 to view the Standard Pre-hung components, and the Optional or Upgrade Pre-hung components. Door Slabs • True square-edge construction, and trimmable by up to 1/2" on all four sides. Sizing Information • 2 options for sizing down GlassCraft's FiberCraft composite doors and sidelites. GlassCraft can produce these doors to specific door sizes, including production of doors to full book size which is used for remodeling and door replacement needs. See details below. Option 1: Slight changes to the standard in-stock door slab sizes and sidelites by trimming no more than 1/2" on all sides • Refer to part # TDH ($59 List)

Available Prefinish colors for PREMIUM SERIES doors: • All 23 available factory prefinish colors are available for Premium Series doors. See catalog pages 9 - 13. • 9 available Palette-Collection factory prefinish colors are available for PREMIUM-Series doors. See catalog page 7. • Some Premium-Series Knotty Alder doors are only available prefinished. These are noted in the catalog and in the On-Line catalog. Warranty • Limited lifetime warranty on Premium door slabs. IG glass panels have 5 year warranty. 5-year warranty on factory finish. Product Approvals • Most Premium Fiberglass Series door configurations have DP Ratings. In addition, many of these doors have received Impact Approval ratings from Florida and Texas.
