FIBERCRAFT SHAKER STYLE CRAFTSMAN MAHOGANY DOORS
The Craftsman doors on these 2 pages feature “Shaker-Style” mahogany wood-grained doors that com- plement a wide range of decorative elements and architectural styles. These doors utilize GlassCraft’s patented MetroFrame™ fiberglass doorlite frames, which are produced using an industry-leading high- compression fiberglass process for superior strength and stability. These frames feature a simple and modern shape that projects only ¼” from the face of the door, and measures 1 3 / 8 ” in width. Divided lite muntin bars are flat in shape, and only 1 inch wide (see photo at right). The frames do not use exter- nal fasteners that require unsightly frame plugs to hide the assembly screws, but rather incorporate a patented clip system, allowing replacement of the glass in the event of breakage. The 2 GBG doors listed with the Value Series doors on the next page feature 1-inch-wide black aluminum muntin bars that are permanently installed between the 2 glass panels. These doors offer an excellent price point for an excellent door with a mahogany wood grain texture.
All doors except Value series doors are available with an optional “Dentil Shelf”.
Unique Mortise and Tenon Feature for Artisan Distressed Finish Option
GlassCraft’s Premium Series and Pro Series Craftsman style doors are available finished with Estate Collection or Artisan Collection stain finish options and with Palette Collection paint finish options. Value Series Craftsman doors are only available with Palette Collection colors. Doors finished with the Artisan Collection Distressed colors include unique “mortise and tenon” faux door peg markings (see photo at right). This unique finish appearance provides a combination of special antique patina, natural bur marks, rustic characteristics, indentations, pits, scores, and worm holes. (No door peg or distress marks on Artisan Antique finished doors). These Artisan finishes, wood grains and textures create a unique, authentic Craftsman Mahogany appearance.
